A year ago today we lost Chris’s father, Bill Kelly. He was 85.
Born in Keokuk Iowa in 1939, he was the second child of Henry and Alberta (Chrisman) Kelly.
He graduated from Keokuk High School in 1957 as Senior Class President and then attended Carthage College, graduating in 1961.
He married Judy Perry in 1964 and the couple had three sons between 1965 and 1971.
Bill passed the CPA exam and became an accountant and served in the National Guard.
In 1970 the family moved to Galesburg where he became a partner in an accounting firm where he remained for 4 decades.
He and Judy divorced and in 1977 he remarried to Kirsten Dahlin and she gave Bill his fourth son.
Shortly after, they divorced as well and in 1979 he married Susan Marshall who was his wife then until his dying day.
After retiring, Bill and Sue moved from Galesburg to Branson Missouri where he died 12 years later.
